It is our policy that developing people becomes an integral
part of the Group's business objectives. As such, Training
and Development is a key aspect of our strategic plan.
Through structured discussions with our employees, we identify,
assess and develop planned learning efforts that will further
enhance their skills and knowledge. Skills development programmes
are implemented across all levels, which contribute to the
employees' improved performance as well as the Group's overall
organisational effectiveness.
Our remuneration package is competitive, contributing to
employee motivation whilst helping to attract and retain employees
with the requisite competence.
Today, Powertek has a staff strength of more than 180 people,
located at the head office in Kuala Lumpur and the power stations
in Melaka. As part of the Group's efforts to promote the esprit
de corps amongst members of the staff, the Group organises
various events throughout the year including family day, staff
dinner and sports.
