Powertek Berhad, an Independent Power Producer, generates electrical energy for sale to Tenaga Nasional Berhad. Powertek and its subsidiaries own and operate three power plants in Melaka, Malaysia with a total installed generating capacity of 1,490 MW, comprising a 440 MW open cycle plant and two combined cycle plants of 330 MW and 720 MW respectively.
